<p>PURPOSE:To save an electric power consumption of a small vehicle such as a golf car or the like and to prevent natural reversing of the vehicle safely and exactly by energizing a device for preventing natural reversing of the vehicle only when the vehicle tends to naturally reverse at starting time. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 2 is closed at starting time of a vehicle, a switch 1 closing at lower than set speed of the vehicle is also closed. Accordingly, the switch 1 closes a solenoid 3 to cause a coil spring 57 to make contact with the outer peripheral surface of a drum 55 via an operable shaft 59 by means of its magnetic force. When the vehicle reverses in this state, the coil spring 57 is strongly wound on the outer peripheral surface of the drum 55 by the frictional force between the drum 55 and the coil spring 57 to thereby prevent the drum 55 and drive shaft 53 from reversely rotating. When the wheels rotate thereafter faster than predetermined speed, the solenoid 3 is deenergized to become normal running state.</p> |
