<p>Condensed thiazoles of formula (I) are new (where R7 and R2 are alkyl, cycloalkyl, or together with the attached N atom form a 5-7 membered satd. heterocycle opt. contg. a second O, S or N hetero-atom, the latter opt. substd. by alkyl; A is OH when, B is H, or A and B together form an extra valency; N is 1,2 or 3). Also the salts of (I), 24 cpds. are specifically claimed including 3-hydroxy-3-(2-piperidinoethyl)-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydrothiazolo 3,2-a -1,3-diazepine. Cpds. are hypotensive and vasodilatory agents, for treating all stages of arterial hypertension without cardiac or renal side-effects.</p> |
