An electrical transformer winding made in the form of a layer winding or a helical winding, shown developed in a plane in Figure 1, is manufactured from a conductor bundle containing at least two parallel conductor strands a, b and wound in a plurality of winding turns. For the purpose of increasing the capacitively stored energy in the winding, by creating a voltage difference between the strands of the conductor, the winding contains a number of transpositions, preferably performed in pairs, between two conductor strands. In each transposition a first conductor strand a has a break 2 in a specified winding turn to provide two first strand ends, and a second conductor strand b has a break 1 in another winding turn to provide two second strand ends, the two first strand ends being crosswise connected by the joints 3, 4 with the two second strand ends. Arrangements with three parallel conductors (Fig. 3, not shown) and with four parallel conductors disposed in two overlying sublayers (Fig. 4 not shown) are disclosed. <IMAGE> |
