<p>The multi-section handlebar is for use with hand-steered machines used for agriculture, gardening or construction work. Its straight portions (12, 13, 21, 22, 25) are of material relatively difficult to shape, eg metal, while the bends(6, 7) and/or T-pieces(14, 15, 23, 24) giving the desired shaped are of easily-shaped material such as plastics. All parts can be of material having the same coefficient of expansion or nearly so, or alternatively the bends can have different coefficients. Straight and bent portions can have different degrees of electrical conductivity, and they can fit together by means of socket joints.</p> |
