PURPOSE:To prevent abrasion or seizure in non-oiled state and improve the life of a roller bearing by forming gold-alloy film having self-lubrication characteristic on the surface of the rollers or the track wheel of the roller bearing. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of either the rollers or the track wheel of a roller bearing, gold or gold-alloy thin film which has self-lubrication characteristic and contains non-metallic minute particles having particle size below 0.5mu is formed, and in order to improved the lubirication faculty of the film, minute particles such as graphite fluoride which is minute in comparision to the thickness of the film is contained in the film. |
