The displacement device is provided with a baseplate (1) which is permanently connected to the vehicle and bears a pair (5, 5a) of toothed racks, a slide (11) which is fitted on the baseplate and receives the fifth-wheel coupling (10) and locking bolts (23, 23a) which are guided on the slide transversely with respect to the sliding direction and can be engaged in and disengaged from the tooth gaps (6) of the toothed racks by means of the force of a spring (33) and by means of a lever (26) which is connected to the said bolts (23, 23a) in an articulated fashion. The object of the invention is to provide a displacement device with a lever and locking system which can be actuated with relatively little force and with which secure engagement of both locking bolts is ensured. In order to achieve this objective, a stop (27, 27a) is attached to the slide in the region of each locking bolt, which stop (27, 27a) on the one hand limits the disengagement travel of the locking bolts and on the other hand has the purpose that, when one locking bolt rests against this stop, an axis of rotation for the pivoting movement of the lever can be formed simultaneously with the articulation axis connecting the locking bolt to the lever (26) so that the other locking bolt can be disengaged, the lever (26) being connected individually to each locking bolt (23, 23a) but being freely movable with respect to the slide (11). <IMAGE> |
