<p>The height adjustable suspension for a motor vehicle has variable length servo rams (12) on the suspension (11) and variable settling stabilising arms (1) between the axle supports (8) and the chassis. The stabilisers are set by a servo ram (5) in relation to the axle loading. The suspension is height adjusted over a wide range of axle loading's with a stabilised damping over the load range. Deleterious effects due to changes in loading are compensated, giving good spring performance over a wide loading range.</p> |
