<p>The flap dispenses metered quantities of brittle granulate or pieces e.g. of chemical products, pharmaceuticals or food etc. is rectangular and so mounted in a housing or passage section (2) that its two sides (6), at right angles to its pivot axis (4), form seals against the passage walls when opened for an angle of up to 20 deg. A partial or complete sea (5) is formed along the outer edge of the flap. It can alternatively be of material fulfilling the sealing function, when no separate seal is provided. The pivot axis can be on one side in the housing, so that when opening the granulate or items such as pills or sweets are only discharged on one side.</p> |
