The disc brake has a support(10) which is fixed to the vehicle, and a disc(12). The support plate is parallel to the disc faces(14, 16). The stirrup(22) is fitted astride of the disc and supported by bolts(18, 20) fixed in brackets(24). The hydraulic motor has a piston(30) which moves in the cylinder(32) to drive the pads(36) against the brake disc.
