The stationary contact connection of the switch to a conductor is formed by a crimping coupling. The stationary contact(s) (28) is formed in one piece with a crimping sleeve(s) (36). Then it is mounted in its functional position in the switch housing (10, 30). The stationary contact(s) can be preferably inserted in recesses of a flexible plastics housing part which can be secured to the switch socket (10) and elastically latched there. In the assembly first the stationary contact is crimped to the connecting wire outside the switch housing. Then the unit is inserted into the respective housing part which is then latched to the switch socket.
