<p>Strips or beadings for use as semifinished product for edge protectors are produced from a continuous carrier strip of plastics or textile to which a plasticised layer has been applied. This layer is plasticised and continuously applied by an extruder to the moving carrier strip at a tangent. The system produces endless strips at low cost, using simple machinery. A great variety of carrier strips, even delicate low-strength tapes, can be used.</p> |
