ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY HAVING HIGH MOISTURE RESISTANCE AND LONG LIFE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To improve the moisture resistance, wear resistance and cleanability after repetition of corona charge by providing a specific surface protective lubricating layer on the extreme surface part of the photosensitive body and an org. high-polymer binder layer thereunder. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body having a photoconductive layer consisting of a hydrogenated amorphous silicon material on a base is constituted by applying the surface protective lubricating layer consisting of a perfluoropolyoxyalkyl or perfluoropolyoxyalkylene group as its skeleton on the extreme surface layer part of the photosensitive body and applying the org. high-polymer binder layer contg. a lubricating agent of the structure bonding the perfluoropolyoxyalkyl group or perfluoropolyoxyalkylene group and non-fluorine-contg. group adjacently to the lower part thereof. The surface of the surface protective layer is then made equal in fluorine coating rate and fluorine surface strength to polytetrafluooroethylene and the moisture resistance is enhanced; in addition, the coefft. of friction is lowered and the wear resistance and cleaning resistance are enhanced. The long-life photosensitve body is thus obtd.
