The paint ingredients comprise (I) A polymer of (a) 20-95% of one or more (up to C20) alkyl (meth)acrylates, (B) 5-20% of one or more unsatd. mono-di-carboxylic acids and/or alkyl half esters of the dicarboxylic acids, the acids being up to C6 and the alkyl to C10, (c) up to 75% aof common comonomer(s) (partic. styrene and hydroxyalkyl acrylates), or up to 5% of N-hydroxyalkyl- or N-oxaalkyl-(meth)acrylamide. (II) An alkyd resin and/or maleinised alkyd resin and/or maleinised oils and fats. (III) P-F, U-F or M-F resin. (IV) Ammonia or water-soluble amine. (V) Water, possibly with up to 10% of organic solvents. |
