The toilet paper holder incorporates an air freshener contained in the dispenser case (3). Both ends of the case (3) are sealed by a sheet (4) which is impervious to smell. The dispenser case (3) engages with the inside of the cardboard roll (2) on which the toilet paper is wound. The dispenser case (3) is made of plastics and has its sheet impervious to smell made of polyethylene (4c) and aluminium (4d), or cellophane. The liquid air freshener is contained in a holder (5) joined to the inner wall of the dispenser case (3). The holder (5) can be made of cellular material. The quantity of liquid air freshener inside the holder (5) is between one and five grammes.
