Expanding claw for switch or socket mounting on panel - has hinged extension claw for retention of switch in deep set recess

A panel mounted switch or socket is mounted in an aperture and is retained by expanding claws. An extension claw is provided to allow mounting in deep set recesses. The expansion claw is manufactured in two parts; one is pivoted to the main frame (10) of the switch or socket. The second is hinged to the first and is swung into a straight line position for use in deep recesses. Indents provide a location between the two parts and the extension has a claw end for gripping the retaining surface of the housing.
