摘要 PURPOSE:To enable cohesive failure to be effectively generated by restraining flaking by a method wherein an adhesive layer and a cohesive failure layer are formed between a base material and a hot-melt ink layer. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer, a layer which generates cohesive failure in thermal transfer time, and a hot-melt ink layer are successively provided to a base material, and a matting effect is generated on printing matter to be transferred. The matting effect is caused by cohesive failure surface unevenness in the case where the cohesive failure layer fails by cohesion when the ink layer is transferred and is separated. There are higher fatting acid metal salts expressed by a formula (CnH2n+1+COO)mMe(n>=13 to 26, m=1 to 3, Me expresses metal.) or its derivative as a compound contained in the cohesive failure layer. Though the adhesive layer may be a layer composed of only individual thermoplastic resin, a layer in which wax, oil extender, etc. are mixed in order to prevent blocking may be formed on the base material. By establishing thus the adhesive layer between the base material and the cohesive failure layer, adhesive force between the base material and the cohesive failure layer is strengthened, flaking being restrained, and cohesive failure can be effectively generated without strengthening cohesive strength of the cohesive failure layer.
