A photopolymerizable composition comprising a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated compound, optionally, a linear organic polymer, and a photopolymerization initiator comprising a combination of a compound represented by the general formula (I) <IMAGE> (I) wherein Z represents the non-metal atomic group necessary to form a nitrogen containing heterocyclic nucleus, R1 represents an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group, and R2 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group having a comparatively high photopolymerization initiating ability; and a compound represented by the general formula (II) <IMAGE> wherein X represents a halogen atom, Y represents -CX3, -NH2, -NHR1, -NR12 or OR1, R1 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group and R represents an alkyl group, an alkyl group substituted with at least one chlorine atom, an aryl group, a substituted aryl group or a substituted alkenyl group. |
