<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable illumination coping with a road, and distribute light to a necessary place effectively by controlling light leaked from an illumination device even if at whatever type of the road the illumination device is installed. <P>SOLUTION: Light sources deployed at the illumination device in a plurality of numbers are used as the plurality of light sources for short-distance illumination to illuminate the vicinity of a pole onto which the illumination device is mounted, a plurality of light sources for a long-distance illumination to illuminate a region away from the pole, and the plurality of light sources for an intermediate-distance illumination to illuminate the region of the middle of the both, and all the light sources are deployed on a flat face having the same elevation angle. At least, the light sources for long-distance illumination and the light sources for intermediate-distance illumination are capable of changing direction of a light axis by rotation around the elevating angle axis passing through the flat face. Since the neighboring light sources for long-distance illumination and the light sources for intermediate-distance illumination are combined in a pair, integrated, and rotated around the center axis orthogonal to the flat face, the direction of the light axis can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
