The viscosimeter comprises a torsion cylinder (19) housed in a rotating chamber (10) containing the liquid whose viscosity is to be measured. For the measurements to be precise, it is necessary for the torsion cylinder to be held accurately centered in the rotating chamber. For this purpose, the centering of the torsion cylinder without friction is ensured by magnetic means (24 and 25) arranged on the common axis. The viscosimeter is used for measuring the viscosity of blood. <IMAGE>
