Pick=up arrangement for detecting and representing objects for comparison - has electronic camera and prismatic deflection devices forming partial images of simultaneously detected object regions

The arrangement contains an electronic camera (21) in the beam path and a deflection device (18). Two partial images (27.1,27.2) are formed in the image plane (23) of the camera via prismatic beam deflectors (18.1,18.2) according to two object regions (24.1,24.2) simultaneously detected in different directions. Both partial images are combined to form a total image on a monitor or image processing system. The longitudinal axis of the beam path is arranged in the central plane between the two object regions to be detected. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for detecting and representing object regions to be aligned with each other by compact arrangement requiring little adjustment and simple signal processing.
