Open=end spinning plate for yarn sleeves - has stepped rim preventing entry of yarns and plug for bearing

Holding plate is used especially for cylindrical sleeves used for winding up of yarn in the open and spinning method. The plate has stepped edge and it is used as stop for the cylinder end. At least two steps can be provided and the steps form hence a deflector edge for yarns. The depth and radial extent of individual stages is approximately equal. A central holding plug is provided for fastening a ball bearing with a conventional self tapping screw. Entry of yarn into the frames of the spools or sleeves is reliably prevented without additional equipment.
