Package comprising a rigid vessel substantially filled with a food product, at least the lateral and base walls being formed of at leats three layers of resin, two of the layers being a resistant olefinic resin for supporting the package and the central layer being of high impermeability. Pref. the central layer is of a polyvinylidene chloride/polyvinyl chloride copolymer. - Used for packages which need autoclaving.
