The equipment distributes documents between rigid- or flexible-bottomed transport sacks which are rectangular in shape and open-topped. It comprises a set of pigeon-holes open at the front, accommodating the sacks (3) for different destinations horizontally with their mouths to the front and in a vertical plane. The sides of the sack other than that resting on the base of the pigeon-hole are pressed against its sides near the mouth, so as to keep this gaping wide open for easy and rapid insertion of the documents.
