A dental anchor magazine 12 houses a dental anchor 10, for anchoring a superstructure to a tooth, including threaded sections and a manipulating section. The magazine has a conical front end 36, and a square shaped rear end 38 for engagement with a device for rotating the magazine. A passageway extends longitudinally through the magazine to receive the anchor, a slot 48 extending transversely into communication with the passageway for movement of the manipulating section of the dental anchor. Notches 50, 52 are provided for receiving the manipulating section to prevent movement of the anchor when the forward end of the dental anchor is being threaded into a channel in a tooth. The rear of the magazine is received in a holder for manual rotation thereof or a dental handpiece holder for power rotation thereof. <IMAGE> |
