<p>The mechanism transports heavy items or pallets by means of a roller chain running in a horizontal profiled supporting section. Inside the profiled section (10) a hose (16) runs in the travel direction, having on it a strip (20) of very stiff material forming a running surface for the rollers, and roughly half the hose width. As a medium inflates the hose, the rollers are lifted above a continuous stop (34) on the profiled section, lifting the items clear of this stop.</p> |
