Waffle moulding machine - with roll faces sealed by block with curved scraper recesses

A waffle moulding machine with contrarotating rolls prevents the leakage of the sugary mass at the face ends of the rolls by spring-loaded sealing blocks with scraper recesses. These recesses are curved and extend from outside the roll periphery to a point above the roll gap. This prevents any leaking mass from contaminating the conveyor for the waffle discharge or from accumulating at other undesirable spots. it avoids the use of lip seals which have a short life because of the abrasive nature of the mass. All parts are easily detachable for cleaning.
