<p>Variations in the frequency response of an oscillator or an amplifier that includes a tuned circuit caused by changes in the internal input and/or output capacitances of the active device of the amplifier of oscillator due to temperature variations or, in the case of an amplifier, changes in the level of an AGC signal applied thereto, are compensated for by applying the AGC signal, or a DC signal that varies with temperature, to a DC signal controlled variable capacitance network connected in circuit with the amplifier or oscillator in such a way as to compensate for the internal capacitance change.</p> |
