<p>Expanding wall plug has a screw-threaded stud (6) extending through an expandable sleeve. At the inner end of the sleeve the stud engages a nut thread in a cone (8). At the outer end of the sleeve the stud engages a nut (12). The outer end of the nut is closed so that, when the nut is applied and the end of the stud abuts the closed end of the nut, continued rotation of the nut rotates the stud and tightens the cone to expand the sleeve.</p> |
