PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic equalizer which features an analog operation, the small circuit scale, the low cost and also can be applied suitably to the IC formation. CONSTITUTION:For transversal filter 2, the tap coefficient of the weighting circuit provided at the input or output is controlled by the DC voltage. Error signal processor 4 produces signal Dt to correct the tap coefficient, and positive/negative deciding unit 5 decides the code of Dt in accordance with the scale of signal Dt. Analog switches 6 and 7 connect the output of negative and positive current sources 9 and 10 to analog switch group 12 as well as to the integrator such as capacitor group 13 or the like in accordance with the positive/negative deciding output of unit 5. Shift register 11 transmits the sampling pulse of the pulse duration in a speed identical to the speed of signal Dt from the left side of the figure. And now if the sampling value is defined as Dk for the No. K signal Dt of switch 12 which is controlled by the output of register 11, one of switch groups 12 connected to J- degree Ck is closed for just the time of among the taps of filter 2 at the moment signal Dk arrives. |
