<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate operation regarding the power source disconnection of a system wherein plural computers are connected through a network. CONSTITUTION:The computers 101-10n which constitute the system are provided with means 131-13n which generate shutdown processing end signals 201-20n, and a receiving means 10 which receives the shutdown processing end signals 201-20n and generates a shutdown processing end signal 401 for all of the computers #1-nu. It can be confirmed whether or not all the computers are powered off by confirming that the shutdown processing end signal 401 has an ON state. Therefore, since no communication control through the network is required to confirm the end of the shutdown processing, the operation at power-OFF time can be facilitated even in a computer system having a computer with an operating system whose communication control function through a network stops after the shutdown processing ends.</p> |
