The windscreen wiper system is used in road vehicles and has an actuating circuit whose intermittent working mode can be adjusted by a simple control switch. This circuit makes it possible also to use only single wiping movements. The system has a control with main contacts with ratcheting latches for setting the normal slow or fast operating mode. Another contact without a ratcheting latch is used for setting single wiping movement or an intermitten mode of operation. A pulse length detection circuit is provided and actuated by additional contacts. The windscreen wiper can be use single wiping movement or intermittent operation by these additional contacts. |
