PURPOSE:To obtain the subject stable and safe cosmetic having excellent whitening effect by combining kojic acid and/or a derivative of said acid with extract of plant selected from coix laryma-jobi, polygonum bistorta L., sophora angustifolia Sieb. et Zucc., Mayflower., hopp, wild rose and white lily. CONSTITUTION:Kojic acid and/or derivative of said acid (e.g. mono- or di-ester) is combined with extract of plant selected from coix laryma-jobi, polygonum bistorta L., sophora angustifolia Sieb. et Zucc., Mayflower., hopp, wild rose and white lily to afford the aimed cosmetic such as a milky lotion, cream, a toilet lotion, a pack, ointment, dispersion, granule and detergent. Said cosmetic has higher tyrosinase activity-inhibiting action than a case using the cosmetic along by combining a solution of kojic acid and an extract solution of plant with exhibiting a synergistically whitening effect. |
