<p>The panel is used for solar heating purposes and comprises a heat capturing surface made from aluminium sheet. This sheet has hollow pyramidal diamond shapes formed over the whole of its surface, the points of these shapes being downwards. The bottom plane of the sheet or points, is sealed to a flat aluminium sheet to provide the necessary passages for the liquid or gas. This complete assembly is placed onto a rigid plastic foam backing and is secured inside a frame.</p> |
