<p>Thee wheel is made up from two coned shaped parts (1, 2) which, at their inner faces, form a housing for the outside parts of the hub (3, 4). They are held rigidly in position by a tube (5) enclosing the hub. In the housing are fitted two ball bearings for the wheel shaft on an axis (A-B) perpendicular to the wheel diameter. the two coned parts are joined to form a wheel rim. Through the rim is a hole (6) for the air vavle for the tyre. The wheel position can be varied by adjusting the tube stay. An inflatable tyre is fitted to the rim.</p> |
