PURPOSE:To manufacture a clad steel plate of high quality at all times by making ingot after joining steel of the same quality with the insert material to the back face and side face of two inserted materials lapped with a separating agent between. CONSTITUTION:A joining member 6 is manufactured by joining steel 2 of the same quality with the insert material to one side of a inserted material 1 by explosive welding, rolling etc. Then, two joining members 6, 6 are lapped with a separating agent between with inserted materials 1, 1 facing inside. Then, all sides are enclosed by steel plate 2' of the same quality with the insert material to make a lapped member 8, and inside air is exhausted by a vacuum pump. Lapped member 8 is suspended in a mold 9, and the lapped member 8 is inserted by pouring insert material 10 of molten metal from the sprue and an ingot of clad steel plate is manufactured. Successively, the clad steel ingot is bloomed and rolled to clad slab, and after separation or without separation, hot rolled to make a clad steel plate. |
