<p>The sheet for a roller door, venetian blind or similar screen, has individual metal slats hinged to interlock together inside a hinge unit without hinge axis. Above and below a flat visible side of each slat the insides of hinges are bent round at the edge into claws, with the top one of one last slat lying inside the bottom one of the next above. Both claws in a pair (14, 21) provide groove-shaped hinge interiors (15, 18), with parallel sidewalling (16, 17; 19, 20), and a connecting arc of 180 deg.. The sidewalling sections slope at 30 deg. from the vertical, with the inner one (20) on the lower hinge interior (18) adjoining a catch stem piece (23) set vertically on the inner sidewall and facing inwards. The hinge arrangement is made of metal slats produced by extrusion.</p> |
