<p>In a flexible packaging container for liquid foods, a pouring opening (6) is mounted in the upper wall (1). Said pouring opening is located near to an edge (9) of the container and is covered by a covering strip (7) which has a pulling tab (11) at the front and is sealed non-releasably at its rear end (12) to the package. Slightly below the edge (9), the package contains a slot (18) with sloping side parts (19). The pouring edge (8) thus formed can be folded forwards after the pulling tab (9) has been torn open. On the inside of the package, the pouring opening (6) and the slot (18, 19) are covered liquid-tightly by a separate strip (15). The strip (15) is connected to the covering strip (7) in the pouring opening (6) (zone 17). When the covering strip (7) is torn open, the pouring opening (6) is automatically exposed. <IMAGE></p> |
