<p>The rotating drum, for a retractable supply cable, has an recoiling mechanism device consisting of an inner stepped cone (7) and a hollow cylinder (6) coaxially around it. The cone and cylinder are mounted between two flanges (1,2). The current output connector is formed by the cone and is fixed to one of the flanges and can rotate w.r.t. it. The current-carrying cone and cylinder form the rotor and stator of a rotary joint and each is mounted on one of the flanges, which act as pulley wheel.</p> |
