A loading platform for lorries has levers which hinged to it at a distance from each other. These support a loading platform. A ram is used with each lever to give a tilting action. There is a third ram to give the necessary raising and lowering action. The platform is mounted on the chassis by a support tube. The rigid levers are connected together by a torsion tube which is placed outside the vehicle and it gives protection to the underside of the body.
