<p>The ignition circuit, for an IC engine driving a self-excited generator, has the core (20) of the field winding (14) made of magnetically permeable material whose remanence is insufficient to excite the output winding (10) to a voltage adequate for self-excing the generator's windings (10, 14) after the engine has stopped. A winding (C) is wound on the magnetic ignition core (30) such that a voltage is induced when the magnet (37) moves. The connections (42, 43) of this winding are connected via a second rectifier (D) to the field winding.</p> |
