The bearing beam for a scaffolding framework has a downward opening U-shaped retainer attached at each end. One of the retainers is shaped in such a way that its two shanks (21, 22) protrude beyond the lengthways framework beam (5) on which the bearing beam (1) rests. The shanks incorporate slits (24, 25) to hold a wedge (4) for fixing it on this lengthways beam. One shank may be offset outwards, with a narrower slit than the other, while the wedge led in the two slits is shaped by a blind rivet at its narrow end so that it cannot pass through this narrower slit.
|
