PURPOSE:To provide packing described in the title which is mounted very easily and which is capable of softening the violent contact of the packing with the inside surface of the apparatus due to various shock during operation of the apparatus by attaching contact plates to the ends of packing made by joining a number of plates laterally and longitudinally like a lattice, the contact plates which are of larger area than the sectional area of the packing plate.
