The door or window handle comprises an outer port (1) with a hand-grip (2) with a rectangular cut-out section to accept a glass plate (3), which is clamped between the outer member and an inner member (14). The outer and inner members are connected by a cylindrical portion which enters a corresponding cylindrical shaped cut-out hole. The supporting members are connected together by long screws. The inner member is provided with a day-lock (5) with a wedge shaped projection and a night-lock (6) with a rectangular projection. The day-lock is manipulated by a short handle (7) pivoted on the cylindrical bar.
