<p>The electrical discharge machining electrode is fitted to a movable component of an electrical discharge machine. It is guided towards the workpiece so that firstly, its part intended for rough working is pressed into a workpiece hole, and secondly the section for fine working is inserted. The assembled electrode is controlled from the discharge machine so that the material erosion occurs rapidly when the rough working electrode (11) is directly applied to the workpiece (19). Immediately before the commencement of the fine finish working, the electrical discharge machine is adjusted so that the material removal is decreased.</p> |
