The wall hanging unit includes four claws which grip round the edge and are linked together at the back by means of two cords (5, 6) which can be displaced longitudinally in the same plane through a hook or holder (1) Since the claws are detachably mounted at the end of the cords the required length of cord can be easily set. This adjustable detachable fastening can be achieved by providing a bore (11, 12) at the back of the claw through which the cord is passed and then clamped by a screw (13, 14) which can be screwed into the bore. The bore is pref. full-length so than any excess cord length can be passed through.
