<p>Foam plastic profiled sections, esp. those based on polyurethane, are produced continuously by means of an endless belt which acts as the mould, passes around >=2 guides, is longitudinally elastic but stable in cross-section, and is longitudinally grooved, uses points for injecting the foaming material and for picking up the formed profile, and carries the foaming mass from the former to the latter. The forming belt passes round vertical rollers in several superimposed tiers and the top tier moves past the side of the outer layers to the bottom tier. High output rate from small prodn. area is achieved.</p> |
