<p>The transformer, inductor or such like has at least one winding made of a strip. Ends of the winding are brought out and shaped as terminals, so positioned, that another unit functionally preceding and/or following it can be directly connected to it. This arrangement spares the cost of connecting leads and reduces connection resistance. The terminals can be provided with holes or fork-like slots to receive screws, rivets or similar. Alternatively, they can be rolled or folded to form plugs or sockets as the coupling means.</p> |
