The electric dry shaver head has a working surface with openings whose edges form cutting blades in conjunction with an endless flexible shaving belt, continuously driven in one direction and also with blades formed by the edges of the openings in it. Guide rollers are provided before and after the working surface, against which a convex spring support presses the belt. The belt (30) has teeth (86, 88) along one or both lengthwise edges forming cutter edges (90). To hold these edges taut, the guide rollers are barrel-shaped. The convex face of the spring support is curved at right angles to the direction in which the belt runs, and comprises two strips parallel to this direction and spaced apart.
