Soldering of a metallised piezoceramic disc to a steel resonator in the prodn. of a complex transducer for the operation of electromechanical filters involves electroplating the disc and/or the resonator with a soldering material and heating and pressing the two together briefly at the flow temp. of the solder. Pref. the solder is In, in a thickness of 1-10 um. The process is suitable for automatic operation and meets the requirements for good reproducibility.
