In order to enhance the passage of articulated wagons through curves, the wagons comprising two chassis bearing against each other, the selective flexibility pivot comprises a central component (16) and an outer component (13, 14) each integral with a chassis (11, 12) and two symmetrical transverse elastic blocks (18, 23) arranged between the central component and the outer component; it also comprises means (20, 24) for adjusting the transverse compressive strength of the elastic blocks.
